Contractors 

As a contractor at Mickleham Secondary School we need you to be aware of hazards that are specific to our school. It is also important that we record relevant documentation to ensure you are insured and have the necessary safety checks to comply with our OHS policy.  Upon arrival to the site, please report to the office to sign in and be issued with a visitor’s pass that is to be worn at all times whilst on Department premises. You will also be required to undergo a site specific OHS induction. 

At Mickleham Secondary College we use SAM 4 Schools and we will require you to complete
an online induction if you're not already registered as a contractor. 

This must be completed prior to commencement of work. 

Please note that contractors are encouraged to park on Blackmore Road or Maystone Drive.

Mitigating Risk

If you are undertaking what is considered to be high risk work we also ask that you complete and submit a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) to ensure all safety considerations are taken into account. A list of all activities considered to be high risk can be found below along with a SWMS template.  Please feel free to use your own template if you already have one.
